Mocks
Mock exams
Unofficial USABO-style practice
Each mock is assembled new from the club question bank when you start it. It uses questions you haven't seen first, keeps a balance of topics and difficulty, and includes some questions from your weak areas. The mocks follow the general format of USABO rounds, but they are not official exams and do not predict your score.

Full mock (Open Exam style)
50 single-answer questions in 50 minutes, drawn from every topic. The official Open Exam is also 50 minutes, but USABO sets its own question count each year, so this is a club format rather than a copy of the official exam.
- Start mock
Half mock
25 questions in 25 minutes. Good for a weeknight or a club meeting.
- Start mock
Extended mock (Semifinal formats)
40 harder questions in 80 minutes, including multiple true/false sets like those on the official Semifinal Exam. For students who have finished the Advanced phase.
Before you start
- Take it in one sitting and don't use notes. The timer keeps running if you leave the page.
- There is no penalty for guessing on club mocks. The official USABO exams also state no guessing penalty.
- Flag questions to return to. Review every explanation afterward, including ones you got right.
- One mock every week or two is plenty. Reviewing your mistakes matters more than taking more mocks.
